A little bit about me

Alexa Phillips is an editorial strategist, creator, educator & multi-passionate creative. With nearly a decade of experience in journalism, marketing, and content creation, Alexa has worked with brands, startups, and entrepreneurs to build and grow their brands through content.

Alexa began her media journey with a fashion blog, Stylenomics 101, in 2012 and has since created several different blogs, podcasts, and more. Now, she’s focused on building Culture Slant, a media company that explores how media shapes culture, identity, and influence while modeling what editorial leadership looks like in the next era of media.

Alexa is on a mission to inspire, educate, and empower creators to break free from the status quo, defy the algorithm, and create media that leaves behind an impact and legacy. Through an editorial-driven content strategy, she helps founders, brand leaders, and creators define their edge, amplify their voices, and turn their visions into media presences that drive engagement, fuel growth, and position them as tastemakers. You can connect with her on LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, and TikTok

I collaborate with brands, founders, media organizations, and cultural institutions on projects that value editorial judgment, narrative clarity, and long-term thinking.

My collaborations sit at the intersection of media, culture, and strategy. I work best with partners who see media as infrastructure, not just promotion—and who value coherence, taste, and thoughtful execution over volume or virality.
