Strategist, Advisor, Writer, Media Builder & Educator

I build the infrastructure that makes brands visible, consistent, and ready to grow — and share what it takes to get there.

Hi, I’m Alexa

My work is rooted in a single belief: brands are cultural engines, and the ones that win are the ones that think like publishers. That editorial judgment — the ability to decide what matters, how to frame it, and when it deserves attention — is the most underutilized competitive advantage in brand-building today. Everything she builds, writes, and teaches is in service of closing that gap.

That belief has shaped a career built at the intersection of journalism, brand marketing, editorial strategy, and communications infrastructure. The result is a practice that brings something most consultants or in-house hires don't: the editorial instinct to find the story, the marketing fluency to make it move, and the operator discipline to build the systems that keep it running.

Since 2017, I've worked with 20+ companies and creators — from early-stage startups to global brands — on the content and communications infrastructure that makes their story hold at scale.

I’m also the founder and editor of Culture Slant, where I explore the intersection of media, technology, and culture and what those shifts mean for the next era of influencers

Who I’ve Worked With

How I Work

Consulting

I work with growth-stage B2B brands to build the content and communications infrastructure that makes their story hold at scale. Every engagement runs through the S3 Framework — Story, Strategy, System — a proprietary methodology that treats narrative, channel strategy, and operations as a single connected architecture rather than three separate workstreams. The engagement model moves from audit to build to ongoing partnership, scoped to where the brand actually is and what it needs next.

Best for: Brands that are producing content but not seeing it compound into authority or pipeline.

Writing

I write at the intersection of media, technology, and culture — reported features, essays, op-eds, and long-form brand storytelling for publications and companies with something real to say. My work explores how brands build meaning, how media shapes perception, and what it looks like when editorial thinking is applied to the way a brand shows up in the world.

Best for: Brands and editors looking for a strong editorial voice on high-stakes content.

Advisory

I work with creators and early-stage founders as a strategic thought partner on brand positioning, narrative direction, and communications strategy. Advisory is lighter-touch than a full consulting build — the right fit when you need senior editorial judgment at a specific moment without the scope of a full engagement. This is where I bring the same frameworks I use with brands and apply them to the people building them.

Best for: Creators and founders navigating positioning decisions, high-stakes launches, or the earliest stages of building a brand in public.

Speaking, Education & Collaboration

I speak and teach on brand communications infrastructure, editorial strategy, and the operational gap between what brands say they stand for and what actually shows up in the market.
